With the team trials right around the corner, who is coming and what are they bringing?

Is Gordy gonna hand crank his four stroke?
Has Brett found the end of Infinity?
Are the Moons making the trip?
Is the Genesis bronze yet?
Is Rabe ready?
Is Todd getting the time off?

Yes I`ve been practicing starting the 4stoke by hand. Not too bad when you get the technic down

Ya gotta get the prime just right. I can hand start my 56 when it's completely cold. Prime until it bumps and flip. Problem is when it's warm. I can't seem to get enough prime into it to do the job...or I go over the top and it floods.

Interesting, Doug had his "Blue and Yellow" Bear out Sunday. He had his BSE RO JETT 61 in it, with a freshly repitched Bolly 3 blade. He was also using Fancher's "Ted Red Rock" handle.

I am coming up and should be their on Tuesday afternoon. What day are you coming up? I am hoping that I could fly with you and Bill and Randy for a session or two???? I am also hoping to fly with Richard and John Hill if possible also.

It is looking very doubtful for the Moon Bros. Doug was laid off from his job the Monday after the Nats. Altogether a pretty crummy Nats for the Moons this year, but that's just the way it goes sometimes. Barring an unforeseen financial windfall in the next two weeks it doesn't look like we will be able to make it, unfortunately.

Well, I am coming and will be flying and rooming with Alen Brickhaus. Spent a few weeks getting the wimpy 60 to put out some ponies and with a little nitro, a larger venturi, prop, the usual fiddling I'm going put my best foot forward.

I will be there flying on Monday morning, Randy on Tuesday, Bill not until Wednesday evening. Bill Rich and I have been flying together since the Nationals, we are both much improved. Bill is now flying a Katana and is really in a groove. As for me, my hand is giving me no trouble at all.

Talking of WC: what kind of qualification does one have to have to compete in Junior? I saw some photos of prior Junior WCs and they don't look like teenagers to me.

And I agree that there must be something in the water at the Gruber household. Just a few years ago he was well below shoulder height and now is quite lofty to say the least!

From the FAI rules:

"A person is considered to be a junior up to and including the calendar year in which he attains the age of 18. All other competitors are classes as Seniors."
