stunt in the Ohio area?

Gents,

I'm due to fly to South America next Thursday for work on an 11 week assignment. At the end of October I'm scheduled to be up at North Star in Delta, Ohio. I believe this isn't far from the Muncie site, so I plan to go have a look and get a preview for the WC's next year.

Are there any forum members in the Ohio area? It would be nice to catch up with you.

Is there a club in the area?

Delta, Ohio - looks like you're going to be a little west of Toledo, just off I-80 (Ohio Turnpike). This makes it easy to visit our club in Cleveland area (~ 2 hours drive) - the North Coast Controliners http://community.cleveland.com/cc/northcoastcontroline
By late October most competition events will be over, but we can still get out and fly!
There are also clubs in Detroit MI, Columbus OH, Dayton OH, Muncie IN (possibly others that I'm not aware of) - all within ~2 hours drive.

Thanks for your responses. At this stage we plan to be at the North Star steel plant in Delta from around 17 Oct till 30th.

Other than a look at a US map in an Atlas I have no idea of where anything is. Upon arriving in Ohio I'll source some local maps.

Snow blowers......I'm really gonna be experiencing all seasons on the 11 week trip. Firstly Chille, which isn't far different from home at the moment until I get up to the mines which will be cold. Then to Suriname, which is in the tropics, and quite warm, then New Mexico, followed by Ohio.

I'll have email & internet access via my laptop during the trip.

Looking forward to catching up with you then.
