GMA.... (PLEASE read!)

Probably not my place to do this, but I'm doing it anyway.
I received a reply to an e-mail I had sent George a few days ago, asking how he was. I got the response this afternoon, that I had somehow expected, and would much rather not have read.
It appears his condition is declining, and he is terminally ill, with perhaps a month or two left to him. So whatever you guys are going to do or say to him, you'd best do it now.

Thanks, John. I'd been waiting to send a message to Mr. Aldrich until some of the flood of messages he must have been getting had subsided.

Maybe Kiwi can get by to see GMA and let him know about all of the support and good wishes there are out here for him.

He knows/knew, but the situation seems to have degraded fairly rapidly; I think I'll call the various hospitals to find out where he is, since I am getting no answer or forwarded calls trying to reach his home number over several days now since I last was able to speak to anyone there.

George needs prayer

John Kelinske emailed me last night that George had told him the Cancer will take him home to the Lord in 1 to 2 months. I know I will miss him and I am glad I got to spend time with him and become his friend. He is a grand ole gentleman of the old school as well as a great flyer and engine man. I will write him and tell him so. Don't wait to let him know what you have thought or felt about his impact on you and the world of CL Stunt.

Recent intelligence received indicates George is not doing well (in a physical sense), and my gut feeling is he won't be among us much longer.
He did a HECK of a job while he was here, and is a tough act to follow, but I am building models today and am happy doing it, in honor of him. Thermals and soft landings always George!
