Like many of you, last week I was hit by the MS Blaster worm through my ISP after it first infected my ISP. Typically I used to get about 4 spams/day and a real message once about every third day.
I had to have my computer completly wiped and reloaded with programs and system software from discs and new anti virus software.
Today, I had 144 e-mails. Most were from my ISP saying they had stopped virus containing messages. Some were from my ISP saying that I had sent undeliverable mail. In fact, I have sent only two e-mails in the last 10 days, both yesterday.
I ran my anti-virus software just now. I have no infected files. I will contact my ISP to do whatever they can to stop this nonsense. Meanwhile don't e-mail me or answer e-mails from me until I create a new service and address.
