Len is right on this one, Kiwi. The cookie is based on the configuration file. There is a little history on this one.
When we went to the new provider, we had a problem when referencing www.clstunt.com in the config files. Anyone could edit or overwrite anyone else's messages. This was due to a problem with ... you got it, virtual domain setup. We could not get resolution on it from the site managers, so I experimented and came up with a work around and found that if I referenced just http://clstunt.com, all worked well. I left it at that, and this is what was in all of the cookies. As I recall, it caused a big of a cookie problem back then as well.
Fast forward to last week. Virtual domain setup on the hosting server collapsed after server software upgrade. I was trying to come up with fixes to keep the system up and running. One of the changes that I made to keep things going was changing back to http://www.clstunt.com in the config files. This worked, and it no longer appeared that anyone could overwrite anyone elses messages. So, I made the change. With everything else collapsing, I didn't give any thought to the cookie issue. When I read Len's post this morning, it hit me what had happened.
Mea Maxima Culpa.
At any rate, once we go to the new software, it will settle out once and for all <wishful thinking>. And yes, we will retain the message base and people's logins and passwords.
