How about APMAP !!!!

Amature Pilots Model Air Planes or "APMAP"
Kinda like the "ANTIPAMPA"
APMAP would have to fly clockwise, No Competition of any kind is allowed for APMAP members with one exception.

Every year at the NATS the "New Guard" of APMAP would challenge the "Old Guard" of PAMPA to a butchers picnic type of event. Something like Combat only the models would be flown in different directions. Counter Clockwise for PAMPA members and Clockwise for APMAP members. The "Hot Shoe" PAMPA guys would fly exquisite patterns trying to dodge the APMAP guys who are desperately trying to keep their models flying. After both pilots become tangled in each others lines and fall to the ground they are forced to lie there until they become friends and together untangle the lines that bind them.

There I corrected it, should have used "Armchair" (smiles)

Everything sounds good to me except that "shoe to the nuts" thing. Could that be changed to a "nerf boot to the bum"?

I think that's "Amateur". I wouldn't mention it, except that, on Usenet, in certain newsgroups (usually under alt.binaries ) you see the word misspelled this way so often. Try doing a google search on "armature" and see what comes up.

On the RC side, there was the Sport Fliers Association. Remember them? The interesting thing, from our point of view, was that their insurance specifically excluded Control Line flying.

I once flew Windy combat, Yes... Windy....yes... combat

anyway....
now he was going to use a stunt ship, and being the young wise guy that I was back then, I told him "Mr... you can't use that pretty stunt ship in combat" so he said thats all he had. well I guess I was being set up and being as swelled headed as I was back then I never seen it coming so I figured what can this guy do if he's thinking of using a pretty stunt ship in combat, so I gave him one of my extras, yea right dumd thing to do in combat. I guess he was better at planning his intersections than I was
because needless to say I didnt have any extras when I went home he did it, yes he CRASHED right into me.

I remember reading that Bob Hunt did some combat flying at Brodak's a couple of years ago. Did pretty darn well, if I remember correctly.
