On page 121 of the Aug 2001 Model aviation you will find a RCHTA ad about monetary rewards for reaching out to non-hobbyists. I've been reliably informed that these awards are available for CL as well as RC. Like, check it out!
I have looked at the RCHTA website and don't see any mention of other than RC. I have emailed RCHTA asking for clarification. If you are interested, I'd suggest that you confirm this with RCHTA before getting all excited. I just heard this today, and on one of the other forums there is a convincing statement that it was not so in the past.
