22 Deg wing flaps is that about right???

Does anyone fly a Nobler? What works for you?
Once my airplane is completely finished the only way to change the linkage is to cut a hole in the airplane. With full bell crank rotation I have 22 deg up and 22 deg down flaps. Is that about right on the Nobler wing??? I think I will set the elevator at 30 degrees up/down.

It all depends on how light you build, where you set your CG, even the power you use. For each model and design it can be different. If only there were a formula for every design and we knew in advance exactly how heavy (or light) we would build. Even there, changes "happen" and each person has his own preverences.

22 degrees should be ample for the flaps. But if you want to vary the ratio, an adjustable slider on the elevator horn would be a good choice. Then you can always make changes.

If memory serves, GMA mentioned excellent results with a 1:1 setup on one of his N's. Normally, though, they are usually set around 0.66:1, or close.

If at all possible always make your controls adjustable at least at the elevator. In the column of stuff that always works, the heavier the airplane the more flap it will want. I've built three Tucker's weighing in at 44oz, 40oz and 37oz. The heaver one was 1 to 1 and the lightest was 2/3 to 1. My Pipe plane is 66oz (SV-11) and I just increased the flap last weekend and it loved it.
