Got the USA-1 out to the field today, finally!

Running a Tom Lay reworked ST G51, reworked rev-up 12 X 4 3/4, Sig 10% with some castor and snake oil added, .018 X 65' eye to eye. Still got to get a total weight for it.

Got off too rich on the first flight (5.6), and the wing tip was up. Got the speed up on the second (5.1), and found out the tip was up both ways. Added some weight to the tip, and flew the pattern on the third flight. Aaron flew the pattern with it on it's 4th flight. Next weekend is fine tuning the trim. Almost flew "right of the board"!

Man, am I happy with this bird!

So Bill, do you have some pics of the completed plane? The ones you posted before clear looked great.
