I flew my Flite Streak several flights with the handle braced by 4 plastic wiring straps. No further problem. Easy to slide the straps around to change the spacer for sensitivity adjustment.
Also, I talked to Eric Rule, and he plans to modify the laser pattern to provide 4 bolt holes for more positive binding.
I can now recommend the +25% handle for models at least up to the size of my ARF FS with a .25. Actually, if you have large hands, it might be the choice for you for 1/2A, it is only about 3/4 ounce weight instead of the 1/2 ounce for the small one, but lots more room.
