Walter Umland...I am honored

Not long after I posted the cloth hinge stuff and pictures, Walter Umland called and wanted to know about the way I mounted the joiner for the elevator and more about the material I use for the hinges and how I do it. He recognized that I was building one of his kits (Magician) that I bought from him a while back.

We had a very nice discussion about his company and a couple of his up coming proojects. Walter, I am honored that you took the time to call and it was a real pleasure to talk with you. I will post a few more pictures of the Magician, once I get a little farther along. Walter deserves a lot of praise for how well and easy this kit is going together. Great kit!!!
