There is pending in the California legislature in Sacramento, a bill to change the name of the state. They want to change it to "Granola" due to the high number of fruits, flakes and nuts out there.

I saw the title on this thread, and thought I'd post about Arnie, but Jake beat me to it.. I'll bet a dozen people had the very same thing on their minds...

FYI

Shareen tallied the votes the first few days of the month while monitoring postmark dates on those which arrived after the end of September. Two things were driving the pragmatic finalization of the count and general publication of same.

1. The need to get results to Tom Morris in order to get them published in theNov/Dec STUNT NEWS. This necessity may cause a tiny difference between the initial numbers and the final tally.

2. The desire to inform the candidates and the PAMPA Trustees, as a courtesy to them.

The technical finalization will, of course, only be totally accurate when ballots stop arriving with qualifying postmarks. It is accurate, I believe, to say that none of the offices in contest were sufficiently close enough for there to be a substantive difference in the outcome...i.e. the winners announced are extremely unlikely to change as a result of final tabulation.

I'm at work and can't verify precisely that Brett's announcement is 100% accurate but, I suspect, he took them directly from the letter Shareen sent to Trustees so you can probably take that info to the bank.

Congrats, Bruce. I understand from reading between the lines that you are a mere puppet of "DD" R. If this is so, will we still see an ocassional "BB" Stunt or "PS" motor diatribe?

Here, no matter how you vote, you still get Bubba in office. Let's see now, two "sunshine" states, both on a coast, both with lots of strange folks and both have a funny way of voting. Hmm. I'll stay in land. I have lived in both states.

Yes, Bruce is a puppet District 11 Dictator. To wit:

Back to O.S., the Bad Boy Stunt column grew out of Tom's desire to rid the District 11 column of stuff that didn't deal directly with this district. Bruce will of course be doing the reporting on happenings in District 11. It is my intention to continue with Bad Boy Stunt as a standalone column.
