The coveted District VIII Championship Trophy for 2003 was awarded to Joe Bowman. The 2002 winner, Don Hutchinson, was a close 2nd.
The coveted District VIII Championship Trophy for 2003 was awarded to Joe Bowman. The 2002 winner, Don Hutchinson, was a close 2nd.
The perpetual trophy is awarded to the person who accumulates the most points over a year of contests. Intermediate, Advanced and Expert Pampa classes are awarded 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, points for 1st through 5th place. All entries with OFFICIAL flights are awarded 1 point. In addition, CD, and Judges are awarded 3 points if the do not fly in the contest.
The Trophy is awarded at the Dallas Stunt Clinic and Contest each October. Points accumulation for the next year starts after that event.
Each year the previous year's winner is given a beautiful 3D plaque.
