My good friend William Davis sent me the first two, I love the older pictures like these

my stunt hero (or one of them) Billy with the legendary Junar that from what it seems in another post may have started life as the Hungarian Bull?

Also The 1990 Nats Top5 I think this was the first year that Mr. Walker won with a tuned pipe? Could be incorrect.

Last one is our first Junior W.C. contender Mr. Robby Hunt with the first GeoStar at the 1994 World Championships, I like these kinds of pictures they seem to capture the essensce of competition...

Anyway I hope you enjoy I just like old pictures.

is the sixth plane down (ama 40242) a gypsy?

I also notice it has a three blade prop.

And the orange/white one is that Bob Whitely's Formula One plane called a Miss Dara (or something like that)??

I believe he named it "Miss Kell" (??) after his daughter. Got the article somewhere. If it is Bob's plane that I am thinking about, it has an anhedral stab, OS 35S.

Arron,

Second picture the person lower right front is Nat or "Newt" Gifford. He has 8 Junior, Senior and an Advanced wins to his credit at the Nationals. He is now a Continental Express PIC and flys with us on weekends in the NVCL. He might be coming to the Huntersville contest. I was coming but my plans got sidetracked. Newt is flying very well with his '94 plane he built but never competed with. He just needs to get a bunch of new fuel tanks and put them in his planes. I think that would combat the rust problem he had last weekend at Bull Run park where we do a lot of flying now.

Good to hear from you, I hate you won't be here, it should be a blast.

I figured that was Nat but what about the Junior champ?

Thought maybe Derrick Barry but I think the kid is to old to be Derrick then again maybe not.
