Bart Klapinski has suffered some health problems

Bart Klapinski suffered a heart attack today. He is in St Mary’s Hospital in Tucson and is doing well and is in good spirits. He had a blockage in the artery that goes between the upper and lower right side of the heart. They placed two stints in the artery and feel that he should recover fully. He is currently in ICU for observation. I well keep you all updated on his progress.

I and everyone here in Northern Virginia wish a speedy recovery for Bart! I had the same artery blockage 9 years ago. They did't put a stint into me though. Still is working pretty well after 9 years - they just make me take some medicine to help the heart out.

I wish Bart a speedy and complete recovery.

Seems many of us are having heart attacks. Had mine five years ago. Take those aspirin!

Bart is doing better today; if he weren’t in the hospital you would never know he's had a heart attack. He’s in the chair more then bed. He should be moved to a private room late today and will most likely come home late tomorrow or Sunday. I'm going to see him at 6:30 so I'll give him the most recent posts. Reading the responses really made him feel good and he thanks all.

Glad to hear Bart is out of ICU. I went through this about three years ago myself. Attention all of you out there in your 50s, nearly all of those I went through rehab with were my age or younger. Get your cholesterol checked and start eating right. It really does make a difference.

Again, glad to hear Bart is on his way to recovery. A friend once told me that if Bart would only bother to practice, no one and I mean no one could ever beat him.

I just got off of the phone with Bart (1:00pm mst) and he is about to check out and go home. He said that he doing very good and happy he is going home.

I brought Bart home a little while ago, when he feels like tackling the stairs he'll let you know how he's doing in his own words.

Many of us were in Baton Rouge, and heard about Bart's problems. Glad to hear that he is out of the hospital and on the mend. Our prayers are with him.

I wish him the very best for a speedy and complete recovery. We are too few these days to lose any of our bros.

Best wishes for Bart. We miss him here in Southern Cal since he moved to Arizona.
