Real Semi Scale.. This is for you Al

While out at the local airport for a photo and video shoot I shot these pictures. The P51 and T28 had just rolled out of the paint shop and both were being test flown on their intial maintenance flight. The Sea Fury was down for the Wings Over Houston airshow. I got some great video footage of the P51, T28 and Sea Fury.

Next week there will be Spitfire in the paint shop for a new coat of paint. Windy I will get some good shots for you...

I wonder what engine the Sea Fury was using. It obvoiusly wasn't stock. Probably a 3350. I printed a couple of these for my files,

I'm putting all of the photo's on CD to send to you. The Sea Fury had a 3350 and was awesome. I am also making a VHS tape of Bill's airplane and the additional footage of the Mustang, T28 and sea Fury to send as well. Hope you enjoy.

Interesting note on the T28 Trojan. It is in the colors of CNATRA at Pensacola, except for the cats eyes and mouth. Those come from VF21 on board the USS Princeton CVL 21. She was sunk in WW2 and the airgroup was sent off to other bird farms and as soon as those F6F Hellcats landed, those cats eyes and teeth had to come off. They were for the most part, the only Navy fighters to have larger than standard squadron paintings. Too conservative those swabbies.

Oh.. those were CAT eyes and mouth. I thought it was sort of a weird looking shark...

Kind of a wrong shaped nose for a shark face, I thought..

Does anyone know how to get drooled saliva out of a keyboard? I may have to replace this one once it gets into its guts.

Try baking soda and K2R. Yeah, that's the ticket.

I favor iodine and Rollaids for fixing everything.
