Veco type spinners

I realized today that my little mishap last summer in Portland (seems a long time ago as we've had 7" of rain here in the last 12 hours. Yikes!) managed to seriously ding my last decent 2", 3 blade spinner. Thought I'd just scraped it slightly and it could be cleaned up, but it's definately out of round and a gonner. It's a Veco tpye job that I think I got from Windy or Randy Smith. I've had a bunch of these for years and don't really remember where I got them.

So, who these days is making the Veco style spinners? Windy? Randy Smith? Someone else?

Contact Tom Dixon also. He had some new spinners at the Huntersville contest this weekend that were for two and three blade props. He advertises in Stunt News.

Thanks guys. I'll ask around. I'm sure someone is still making them. I don't care a lot for the shape of the Modusa units (just me, they're solid units). Same for the Tru-Turns, though the Tru-Turn Ultimates are pretty cool.

Thanks for the offer, Alan. If I can't find someone making them, I may take you up on it. Or break down and buy the lathe I've been putting off and make the darn things (yuck!)

Windy has the 2" x 3 blade spinners you seek. I got one for the ex-Wolgast Gobbleswantz, in needle nose. He indicated (last June) that he would have his own in 2", 2.25" and 2.5", two or three blade, in both regular Veco style and Needle Nose, this coming Fall. It's Fall, but I haven't checked back with him, or been convinced that it's Fall yet. It was 74F in my house yesterday, without burning any dinosaurs or KW's.

I recieved these two 2" CNC Needle Nose spinners from Randy Smith at Aero Products. Weight comes in at 1.6 oz (45grams) on my mini digital scale. He asks for the prop shaft thread size and blade cut out requirements you need. Adapter is included.
