So far it is outstanding. The 9th and 10th flights on it were the officials at the meet last weekend, so it isn't fully trimmed. It handled the turbulence great and the handle actuater was it's prime problem. It is a great design! Mine has a Tom Lay St 51 with an eather 3 bld. and it really punches through it all. No bad habits that I can find, and VERY easy to fly.

Don't worry about the cart being loaded until the mule is airborne.

Well, at least now I'll have someone to blame. Great pic and it has pretty much decided me on building one. I've been vacilating on my next classic design for some time. I'm planing to put a whiz-bang, Neumann prepared, Magnum 53 in mine. Should be fun.

That's if I ever finish my PA plane. It's just about in one piece at least.

I know you will "buildit right" to quote Walter, and the 53 should be a great choice! It really needs to be under 60 oz., and you should be VERY happy. If you need any help, email.

Unless you make it to the west coast, it's unlikely. I may steal your paint scheme though. It's very cool.

Bill's model flew well enough to fly the entire pattern upwind on his first official on Sunday at Charlotte. The way the trees were in relation to Bill meant he could not feel the wind coming the wrong way. The model blasted through without much difficulty, and at least he didn't have to fly the pattern in the sun like the rest of us.

PS Bill I didn't go down (in flames) like you said I was!

But maybe next event we all need to tell Roy he's going down in flames!

Nice Plane - - Classic legal as well. That makes it a dual use plane.

Hi Jim, The Geo Juno is needing some "touching up", and the USA-1 is going to do a great job in it's absence.
Had meant to fly it in Classic, but didn't really get there in enough time to fly. It is going to be the PAMPA "back up" and first line Classic for a while. (Maybe the *first line* PAMPA ship for a while!)
