Are you not receiving my emails? Didn't want to post this in public but don't know what else to do.. We have been having trouble with our email server and am not sure if you have been getting my emails or maybe I haven't been receiving yours..

Anyway, back in March I sent you a new OS FP-35 for your Magic touch and haven't heard anything from you other than a bunch of stuff got packed up for the move and you were sorting it out..

Have you found my 35 yet?

Thanks,
Bob Reeves

Uhh --

None of my business, but do I smell a lost shipment here? If so, I assume USPS is the worst place to be. What is the best all-around strategy for shipping engines to Leonard and his counterparts?

Hi Larry,

Actually the USPS is normally pretty realiable.. Just make sure you insure it.

Our business ships 4 or 5 small boxes a week via the Post Office and this is the first item we have lost in 3 years.. The problem is we have became kinda lax on the insurance thing and the one item that couldn't be easily replaced.... Well you get the picture..

By all means, insure it! Randy lost his PA .51 to UPS. Came out ok, when UPS paid off. I also had an interesting experience with UPS, when I shipped a $500 boat prop to California to be repaired. UPS said it got there, they had a signature. The shop said it didn't get there. Turned out, it had gotten there at break time and it just got ignored for a week or two. I was sweating bullets, let me tell you, 'cause UPS said it got there, so the insurance is a no-go. The prop shop in question did a fine job and gave me a better price than normal for the grief. There are some good folks out there, like Leonard (and Phil's Prop Shop)! Steve
