C/L WHEELS

Is someone mfg. any wheels that resemble the old Banner brand?
Looking for something other than the fat, plastic R/C diamond tread that I am forced to use on my Ringmaster Trainer.
Team Racers are using some from a source unknown to me.
Prather Products made some large dia. narrow T/R wheels I would like to find now. (Dia.:1-1/2 to 2")
What are you Stunt Gents using?
Are Williams Bros. still mfg. those Golden Age Plastics w/tires?

I've used the Perfect brand streamlines on several recent 35 size ships. The only thing is the biggest ones are hollow (smaller sizes are solid)and bend or come off the hub easy on rough turf. The hub is cast metal and pressed together. I pry them apart and cut down to lighten...this makes a big difference. I bought several sets from Robert Eierman and also bought a set of solid streamline VECOs from him. I'll only be able to use these if I need nose weight!

I was thinking of buying a set of Brown's foam lightweights and carving down to look like the old streamlines too. The RC electric park flyer fad is starting to show development in really light wheels. Some might work for CL.

I think some of these are just fine, esp. from 60'+. Especially the Hanger 9 Pro Lite wheels (shown in the picture below), but some of the Graupner wheels are REALLY light. If you fly off grass, you will find that the R/C type wheels work better. Grease it on fast, and you have a better chance of not flipping over. It stays on top of the grass better. Steve
