Finally............

As a life long athlete, and coach, I understand what is so fasinating about this sport.
In football, offenses run the pro set, wishbone, wing T, straight T, veer, *I*, shotgun, and on, and on. Everyone has their own opinion of each and their strong beliefs why each works or doesn't.
Same thing on the defensive side.

Gosh, sounds like Control Line Precision Aerobatics!

How long did that take? he, he, - - I finally figured that one out long ago! If two experts agreed on every detail of how to design, power model aircraft and fly the PA pattern I would fall over a pass out from fright!

I have been reading with glee, and total ignorance, all the techno mumbo jumbo, and loving what I don't even begin to understand.

Well, I might understand some of it but I still get a kick out of the discussions.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the debates!

I was going to post something that had to do with paper towles last night. But with the AMA, Powercurves, Fuel aux tanks. I thought better of it. Didn't want to get in the way.
OH got to go my soap is almost on...I wounder if Jake will become Bretts bodygard as Zilla crushes the town, Floyd and Dan get a devorce.

I just bought a 6 pack of my favorite paper towels, Brawny. It's probably the only brand I've ever used on models. My wife brought home some brand that had towels about 5" wide, nearly useless. I'm also sticking with Dow's "Scrubbing Bubbles". Good stuff. Steve

I typically use Bounty paper towels, as I find they do a SUPERIOR job of soaking up excess castor off of the airframe. My favorite cleaner so far is Windex Antibacterial. I find that the Antibacterial kills off all those nasty germs picked up while flying or sitting in the pits, and you never know where everone elses planes have been and what little nasties they have brought to the flying site. I did try the Fantasic All Purpose cleaner and it did do a good job of killing the nasty little germs but left a residue film on my covering. Personnally, I think that Bounty paper towels and Windex is the ONLY thing you should use to clean your plane. To use anything else would be inviting disastor and sure wing-rot infection.

You guys should try the Scotts workshop paper towels on a roll. They are blue and available at Ace hdwr amongst others. Much better than brawny imho. What every you do Dont use the Brawny workshop towels, they are like sandpaper. Also have you tried Sigs Model airplane cleaner? Works excellent but may be a bit pricey. I used to buy it at the Sig contest 1/2 off.

Some years ago in the Pacific Northwest there used to be outright thievery from the back of cars and vans of the ultimate airplane wiping towel. The Job Squad. All in good fun I might add.
