Bob, just look up jobelcrank under the profiles. That's the user name that John uses. All of the e-mail addresses are found under the respective names.

Good Golly Yes, I would love to see some more. How're the retracts coming along?

Oh, and for those who might be interested, I don't go on E*ay. The Joe Bellcrank over there has gotten a few guys mad at me on the forums. Really, he aint me!!!!1 Really.

Regarding the LA-5, It's a Profile Scale plane that John will eventually be kitting. The LA-7 is a later more refined version. The 7 was probably the best Soviet fighter to come out of WW2.

As a Stunt plane flier, I tried to make the design Scale, and yet be capable of some fighter like manuevers. It should build light enough. The outlines are scale. 52"span 46.5" legnth, and 502 sqs Designed for a Saito 56, with throttle, and Roberts 3 line control system. Bob is designing a retract system for it.

I stand corrected, John. I had assumed that, each time that "joebellcrank" outbid me for an item, he was you. I then stopped bidding myself as a courtesy. I also have not bid on several items initially for the same reason. SIGH.

Hi, John - the retracts work flawlessly. I had to reconfigure the feedback potentiometer circuit to get 190 degrees from the main gear servo but I used a mini servo for the tailwheel. There is a scissor and reversing mechanism for the tailwheel. The retracts will be controlled by Z-tron while the throttle is by 3-wire. The plane also features wingtip lights and a flashing tail beacon. John will be busy!!!
That's the Z-tron reciever hanging off the servo cable.
I plan on using the Z-tron on my stunt plane for throttle control.
