Norvel AME / Sig Shoestring ?

Recently, while piddling around in my shop, I built a Sig Shoestring racer with a Norvel AME .015 engine. I was trying to build something with things I had in inventory, without having to buy anything else. In doing so, I even used my surplus ARF Flitestreak bellcrank, fuel tank, hinges and elevator horn. My question is, what prop and fuel should I use to get some speed from this setup? While I don't plan to race this thing, I still want it to go fast. Also, what length and size lines are used in Goodyear racing?

I am guessing a 7 on diameter prop, with the pitch ranging from 4 to 6. Keep on trying until you get the rpms into the "singing" range. Also check out the Norvel Site and see what they recommend for the AME 15.

I use the Norvel .15 in my Brodak Flying CLown. I use a 7x6 prop, on 52' .015 lines. It flies very fast. I use it for clown racing a few times already. I only use 10 or 15% nitro fuel with it.
