Hello everyone !

Relatively new to this forum let me present myself :

My name is Eduardo Affonso, brazilian and presently living in France (since 1995). I have practiced Stunt for many years in my country and was honored with some important national and South American titles in this field. Being to three WCs (some people from this list I have had the honour to meet) I moved to France for my working activities.

The reason I write is very simple:

Since I moved to France, I lost contact with many modellers from all over the world and through Internet I sorted out a way to establish the contact, meet the old friends and make a bunch of new ones. That was with the start-up of a website with this only purpose named Aeromodelos.net.

Since this website has been on for a little over than two years (74000 visitors so far) and as it has no financial interest but gather people to share flying and building knowledge and news, I do invite all of you to pay a visit and CONTRIBUTE to its contents so as many have already done, addressing me whatever you might think should be heard around the globe about F2B.

I am very happy to have found this Internet space as it is an outstanding reference to Stunt and because of this, I raise my hat to Leonard, the menthor of this Forum.

Hi Aduardo, I have been visiting your website for quite some time. I even signed your guestbook! My goal is FAI, and your site really gives a look into the European and Iberian world of stunt. Are you a professional webmaster?

No I am not a professional webmaster. Just somebody who wants to share this lovable passion.

For all of you who have pinpointed my World Map, thank you very much.

Apart from video clips that are in the site (American Flyers), I have got the whole pattern performed by Serge Delabarde from France at the begining of this year. Look at the first page. The report though drives you to the portuguese version of the site, I am pretty much convinced that you will find your way to see the figures.

It is nice to see the clips, as they are performed by his YAK 55 which is an interesting model of different shapes and using a 4 stroke engine.

In fact I am a 2 stroke engine man, always flying an ST.60 with my Matrix, but when I saw the many 4 strokes around France, I must confess that it did turn my head to that area as well.

Post a picture of your current Matrix. Also, is that your father with the scale Embraer ship?

No it isn't. His name is Alfredo de Almeida a former F2B Brazilian Champion who became a very close friend of ours. The scale Embraer airplane he is holding is a EMB-110 Bandeirante.

He was among other things a very important person in Brazil in F2B at the time the whole world used to fly with a Fox .35. In 1973 he designed and built an airplane called Blue Angel. An extraordinary success in Brazil, kind of a Nobler epidemic. Everyone had one and the competitions were gained with this type of machine. We happened to have (back in 1978) a team of aircraft painted the same way. See the photo.
