Instruction Sheet /Sterling Customized Ringmaster

Do any of you have a set of the instructions/plans for this kit that I can get a copy of?

Sure do! I will have to take the plans to be copied and see how much it is. Cost you the printing and postage. Last time I did some I made extras and they went out too so while I am at it - - -

I had the plans printed. Each one is two sheets because Sterling printed the plans on both sides of the paper - the cost was $ 4.00 per sheet or $ 8.00 for the "set" plus shipping. The plans are rolled right now and I could ship them rolled or folded. To ship rolled the cheapest way probably would be priority mail at about $5.00 - if the USPS would give free triangle boxes. Folded would probably be cheaper as I have envelopes and it would only be the postage for shipping that way. Zip codes change the price of postage so email me your address and preference for shipping. I made one extra set because I figure someone might see this and it would save me a trip.
I am not crazy about the cost of shipping items and try to chop the prices whenever I can.

Bill I have the AM Annual magazine that has the customized Ringmaster article in it. If I remember correctly it has a Flying man (pilot w/goggles) & Uncle Sam mods fully documented in the article.

The birdman design is on the plans as well as Uncle Sam with top hat,several shapes of wing tips and tails, a dual fuselage, wider wingspan, one with wheelpants, shorter fuselage - - - more. There was a contest about then that wanted people to make their own changes and enter the contest. Best I can remember there were dual winners and their pictures appeared in the magazines. I don't remember if the contest was to promote the kit or the kit was a result of the contest.
American Modeler had an article on it in one of the regular issues and the annual had the pictures on the cover believe it was 63 ( guessing without looking it up - I have the magazines ).

Here's the Birdman taken off the cover of AM Annual, 1962. I remember the winner of the customize contest was a fabulous eagle. There is a picture in one of the Sterling ads arounf this time.
