I have an R/C version of this stunt motor and was wondering if it has the same stunt timing as the U/C model?

It is the same thing, Mike.
I run these on a couple of planes and they are (IMHO) great stunt engines... Lighter than an FP, more power than a stock Fox. They generally give a fairly good 4-2 right out of the box and have many applications. I used one on a Ringmaster and have one now on a Banshee and a couple more waiting for projects...

Ask around you might find the C/L venturi and NVA or contact our host here on SSW and I believe Leonard sells everything you would need to convert that to a stunt engine... Or keep the carb fully open and run as-is.
Agree with Phil. I have a few of these that were converted from RC.
They are just like Foxes, with maybe 15% more power. Oh yes, they run a lot smoother. Currell
