THANKSGIVING

As we take a slight pause in our hectic lives want to wish everyone on this forum a good thanksgiving. We all have so much to be thankful for and hope that all of you whether I know you or not, have agreed or disagreed with you have a good day with your family and friends, and safe trips if you travel.

I'd like to echo the Phantom's sentiments.

In spite of the joint crawling with in-laws, out-laws and various relations for the next 4 or 5 days, I plan to spend at least some of the time in my shop.

I plan to spend most of the time in the shop. Mine is unheated and it should be in the 70's here tomorrow. I may pause for a few minutes to partake of a small portion of turkey.

Living in this country, we have so very much to be thankful for that I think Thanksgiving holiday ought to take like a week or two.

I'm not a global traveler. Even though I have done some, mostly back and forth to Russia, it is really stunning to see the many blessings we have received simply due to an accident of birth.

I mean, I visit Canada a couple times each year...

Happy Thanksgiving also from "this" American citizen, who happens to live in Canada. We're lucky here, too, and have much to be thankful for. We celebrated our Thanksgiving about a month and a half ago, so mark me envious of your holiday. I am, however, looking forward to 2 weeks off between Christmas and New Years', at which time I'll be doing some serious modeling...

Amen to a hearty thanks for many many things--- among which is this forum and the others similar to it.

The Holidays is traditionally the time when I start to pour on the building efforts. I started doing this in college because, that was the only time I wasn't studying hard. Thanks to everybody for an absolutely wonderful forum.

Absolutely, everybody have a great, safe and thoughtful Thanksgiving. Think of our troops in Irak and Aframistan, getting their Turkey MRE's and say a prayer for them, and include some good thoughts for the natives in those hell-holes, that they will finally find freedom and the 21st Century. Steve
