People are starting to arrive for VSC, Bob Palmer, Joe Reinhard, and a few people I can't remember names on. The field was pretty busy today.
Bob enjoyed conversation with just about everyone and help his buddy Bill Heyworth. Joe is flying an Australian design, very nicely done as always.
The weather was excellent hitting the mid 60’s by 10:00.

Flying Control Line is not a Hobby it's a way of Life.

Today, Sunday the activity started to pick up at the flying field. It will continue to increase as people arrive in Tucson. We already have a sign up roster for one circle. More sign up stands will be added to the other circles as the activity increases.

Couple observations. Joe Reinhard and I cleaned up one circle the other day. You fellas can sure help out to keep the field clean by field stripping any cigarettes and depositing the filters in the trash. Also make sure you pick up all pieces of any incident or accident. We found many ciggy butts and especially broken prop parts. Our planes have been damaged on the underside from foreign materials found on the site.

What with a couple hundred people and about the same number of models and about 800 flights the four day contest should be a sight to behold. Helping keep the field clean would be greatly appreciated.
