Dewey Bird

On page 70 of the lastest Stunt News
shows a Dewey Bird.
Does someone make a kit of this Model?

Several years ago there was hobby shop in Indiana. I believe, that was selling kits of the Dewy Bird. It was advertised in the adds at the back of Flying Models. Can't remember exactly how long ago this was, probably five or six years ago. I know because I got one. I was an okay kit but nothing to write home about. It was a profile with the wing mounted on the bottom of the fuselage. The wing also had about 10 degrees of dihedral. If you are really interested, I would check back issues of flying models and you might find it.

I don't remember who makes them but I've seen them in the LHS and on eBay both recently. A friend of mine purchased one at the LHS a few months ago. It is small (maybe 20" span), solid balsa plank wing, and a dihedral.

Pretty sure that was Hobby Hideaway, someplace in Illinois. Steve

That's it!!! "The Hobby Hideaway" That's where I got mine. This one was about a 45 inch span profile with built up wing.
