Website...how it flies

My buddy Pete Young sent me this url, recommended to him by one of his fellow professors at MIT, Mark Drella. If you have a question about aerodynamics, you can probably find an answer pretty easily. While it is intended for 1:1 Scale, it all applies to models, ya know. Might want to put it in your "favorites". Steve

That's a very good source of aerodynamic info. If a few more read the AoA sections, they may stop setting tailplanes at stupid angles that might work fine upright but reversed by double that angle when inverted.

And if that comment gives rise to more "debate" then so be it, but I'm not entering into arguments about the rights and wrongs of physical setups of airplanes. I let the common sense side of aerodynamics speak for itself.

Debate? Common sense is great, as long as it doesn't neglect the subtleties of a configuration - even standard ones. I'd already marked this site.
