Interesting…..Poly-U glue

I was sheeting a foam wing yesterday with Polyurethane glue. As usual, cleaning the tools and my hands with paper towels. Got done and proceeded out of my hole (the shop) for some of that normal non-hobby stuff that people do, including a shower later that night. During the shower I noticed my hands were smoother than usual. Did not think much of it. Then today, at work, they we still smooth. While sitting at there I studied my hands and they were shinny. It was a thin layer of the Poly-U glue! And it was not coming off like dope or CA tends to do the next day. This stuff really sticks.

Have no idea what this has to do with anything, except for the bonding strength of Poly-U. Just thought I’d mention it.

Is sounds as thouth it is a good thing that when you did that non-hobby thing that people do, that you didn't do it alone.

I wonder if someone could market this stuff for cosmetics. There are probably lots of people who'd pay a LOT of money for smooth hands, judging by all the ads you see in the paper...
