Exactly. On both points.

Wing area is about 135 sq.in., the weight is 6 ounces. It is silk covered with the color enhanced with Higgins ink, a mix of red and yellow. The dope was all Nitrate, and it has one coat of Hobbypoxy clear over everything.

There are three slugs of weight in the tail, I should have moved the engine farther back by notching the engine mount flanges. Power is a stock Black Widow, I think I am currently flying with a Tornado white 5x4, and that baby hauls on 37' lines. Renger/RSM handle, of course.

As I recall the forward sweep is 10 deg per side. Only one extra piece of balsa was needed other than that provided in the kit, and that was to widen the sheet on the inside of the fuselage to permit the pushrod to exit better.

Balance is just about on the root leading edge. The elevators use a single drive wire and "Lucky Boxes" to handle the swing. Sheer cloth hinges under the silk. Controls are totally smooth.

I think I still need to add some more tail-weight, as the maneuvers are still a bit open. But it is a dynamite show model!

Plans? We don' need no steenkin' plans. This is not a "design", it is a "built".

How'd you install Lucky Boxes in such a thin elevator?
