Perfect fit engine for the old Lion Tamer cl kit?

What would the perfect engine match be for this NIB model please? I was thinking an O&R .23 or .29 ignition? Anybody remember this one? Regards, William

The Lion Tamer kit I remember was by PDQ and was a box fuselage version of their Circus King. The Circus King was a Ringmaster clone also designed by Matt Kania. The Lion Tamer dates to about 1955 so the correct period engines for this airplane would be Fox 35, K&B Greenhead, Veco, McCoy Supersport, etc. The Lion Tamer was a really odd looking airplane and although it was supposed to compete with the Super Ringmaster, not many were sold.

I have a kit of the Circus King which was my first "big" airplane. I plan to use a Fox 35 on mine.

Yep Steve, lotsa good engine choices... Bare has plans for this
model..there were two versions...he may have plans for both.

The old Fox 25 would be a decent choice. Or a Fox 29 Stunt. Nothing too big.

Strange plane, the Tamer. Fairly rare, vs the Flying Clown, Super Clown, etc also from PDQ.
