I would like to thank a couple of people that really made my day. Last night at the NVCL christmas party I recieved an ARF Nobler with a Fox .35 installed. This was made possible by Tom McClain, who built the Nobler, and by Dick Houser who traded me the Nobler for a Fox .049 that I had recieved in our gift swap. Thanks Tom and Dick. If that wasn't enough, Ron King gave me a new Fox .35. I was as happy as a five year old on Christmas morning finding his first bike under the tree. Thanks Ron, I promise to put it to good use learning the pattern. To all the rest of you out there in stunt land, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year....

I might have a Nobler, too, at Brodak's. Either a Brodak "Original", a '57 Green Box, A Classic legal Geiseke, or another which I am not going to mention yet.

Can't decide which one to do!! LOL!!
We will have to all hook up this year, I missed the photo op last year.

sounds good i will have an arf nobler at brodak im not sure what motor to put in it yet i have a bunch of fox 35s a fox 36 a max 40 fp and a brodak 40 and not sure which one to use im leaning towars the fox 35 . see ya Brad Smith
ps im still learning the pattern i cracked up my arf flite streak learning the 4 leaf clover finaly learned it though flying my combat plane no less at 75 miles an hour. but i can do it now vertical 8s scare me though

Bill,

You just highlight the fact the NVCL are full of generous guys, especially with their time, as evident with the efforts to get the old flying field back. Scott Richlen, Tom McClain, and the who gang. Ron King thank you again for your generousity.

Hey Bill, we'll be having Christmas all summer long. I mean, that's how I felt when we would burn the circle up this past season. Ron and Bill it was great and can't wait for this coming season.

For those who havn't considered joining a club I encourage you to do so. It's best thing to up your enjoyment to the sport.

Dick Houser ran the NVCL Christmas Party. He won the nobler which included a George Aldridge modified Fox 35. Dick then gave that ship to one of our up and coming flyers.

Some of you may remember Dick as the first ever advanced champion at the Nationals. Now he spends a lot of his time helping with NVCL youth events and working with the newer members of the club to get their planes trimmed and their engines to run well.

The NVCL has recently received permission from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to return to our old field in the Meadowood Farm Special Recreation Management Area. It has two of the nicest grass flying circles on the east coast that we mow weekly. If your ever in the Washington DC area, look us up.
