Copy of your trim chart just forwarded to Leonard.
R....
If your looking for the related text that is good reading to go with the trim chart, and includes said trim chart, check Stunt News Mar/Apr 97 issue, page 72. I also have some different file format copies of the chart and text (Thanks to fellow SSW members) that are in easy to open e-mail formats, ..only problem is there on the system at work, I can mail on Monday if any body would like them. Reply to: [email protected] for copies.
Also unrelated topic: My 13 year old Magnum build project flew last night for the first time, sort of; blew off the painting table in high winds, half barrel-rolled onto the the ground inverted:o ...no damage to paint job or plane strucure:D, .."there is a god", ..work continues. Maybe it's not as heavy as I had once thought? Could use more tip weight though if it barrel-rolls so easy
.
Tone, over and out.
Ayway, thanks, guys. I like to collect things like this that others have done. (It saves me work and I can pass it on to others.)
And if anyone else has something like this that they have done, send me an e-mail. I would love to have it.

Yup, I am, as soon as I get a chance to make my additions and add some preflight instructions.
A lot of trimming can, and should (must!) be done even before taking the plane out for its first run. If the wings, tail, fuselage is not in alignment, if the thrustline is off, if the CG is off (vertical as well as horizontal) the controls are set too sensitive or not sensitive enough, if there are gaps in the hingeline, if there are any friction points in the controls that need to be eliminated, these all need to be fixed before putting in the first flight.
There are a couple of other points that I would add or change, but Scott did a good job on this in putting it into Excel form. And we, also, need to thank Paul for his chart, upon which this whole concept is based in the first place.
