ARF Nobler tank

I know that there have been many posts about the ARF Nobler on here. I have one and I am putting a Brodak 40 in it. Now I need to decide on a metal tank (size and brand)or the replacement plastic 6oz tank from Tower. OK guys and gals...whats the verdict on what has worked best for this plane?

I'm planning on using the 6 oz plastic clunk tank. One will have a B.40, the other a DS .40 or Magnum .36. Steve

6 OZ for a FOURTY!!!!!!! What you useing 35 % Nitro???. Brodak makes a NOBLER TANK. Any 4 oz tank will work......
6 oz of fuel on a .35 sized plane GIVE ME A BREAK.

You don't have to fill it all the way up. And if you choose to run a larger engine later you are ready. Seriously though I run larger tanks for practice.

Kirk I put a Brodak uniflow #BH485 in mine 5.5 oz removeable from the front and it is past the firewall into the engine bay ,so its the largest tank that fits. My engine Is a OS 35 S and sits on the front of the motor mounts. Its easy to go smaller once the larger tank is set up. See Ya Neal.

From some unknow spot on the globe - in the Pacific Ocean too. I would say that a 4.5 ounces ATF tank could probably be made to work O.K. Give Ty Marcucci in Huntsville a call and say I said Hi, never mind he'll read this before you can call. He put a 4 ounce tank in his and could give you some helpful advice on how to make openings, vent access points, ect.! I still think that a 4.5 ounces tank would cover both your engines with some spare fuel left over in case you ever decide to put a .46 in it or someting to that effect.
