white pads on os fr piston pins

I recently took apart an OS fp 40 engine
for cleaning and devarnishing. Upon reassembly
I apparently did not have the piston pin
properly positioned and when inserting
piston back into cylinder I managed to
rip out and destroy the little white pad
which is positioned at each end of the piston
pin.
Are these available somewhere or do I need to
buy a new piston pin?
Now a question concerning fuel for a ringed engine.
Most of my engines have been of ABC or ABN construction
so I have been using fuel with all castor.
What is the best fuel to use on a ringed engine.
would a syn/castor mix be a better fuel?
Would all castor do more harm than good?
I would appriciate any and all suggestions
to these questions.

No they are not available separately . You must buy a new wristpin. Tower hobies 40 will fit and is a lot cheaper.
You might find someone with a spare wrist pin (used) that you can pry the pad out of, or perhaps our host may make them.

I made some for some OLD Foxes that I had . They had brass and I replaced the brass with teflon.

I run 22% 1/2 and 1/2 in the winter and 23% 1/2 and 1/2 in the summer, in all my ST 46's and ST 60's. I also run this fuel in my PA 65, Aerotiger 36, OSLA 40,OSLA 46 and OS46VF/ABC and AAC. I do add 1oz of Aero 1 to all my fuel for protection.
