Anybody else out there built one of these? The kit wasn't the best I have seen. The trailing edge had the biggest nothches for ribs I can ever remember seeing. About 3/8" wide. I don't know why. Other then that it actually built into a fairly nice wing. What did you use for power on yours?
BILL ...I had a FOX .36x on mine. It toped out at 92 mph. WAY to fast for me. It flew good. My kit had the same trailing edge problem. I just glued the rib to one side of the cut. I put about 10 flights on the plane and last week just gave it away. Sorry I can't help much.
Thankyou Scott! The speed issue doesn't bother me as I enjoy that type of intense flying. The stunts aren't as pretty or precision as the pattern people do but I don't compete so it is of no consequence henceforth why I say what I do at the bottom of this post.
Witnessed the test flight of a new Galaxie New Year's Day and it flew very nicely. Dan's first flight in 12 years, to hear him tell it. He's a retread and can't be over 28 or so yet. Rejoined the club with his dad and said, "Just like ridin' a bike..."
