How would I rig up a remote needle on an engine test stand - can I use a remote needle along with a standard venturi and needle?

Don't see why not, open the front needle almost all the way and use the remote to adjust the fuel flow.

I'd recommend the Magnum/ASP RNVA. It mounts on the top two backplate screws, so would be easy to mount on a bracket. Nice unit, too.

The OS FP rear needle assembly would work well, too. It, too, is on a metal bracked with two screw holes. I have some of these, and also some complete metal ASP backplates with needle attached. These could be mounted to the test stand with a couple of screws. I got new back plates for the engines, so the whole assembly remains in one piece.

The test stand is the place for those Fox remote NVA, I run some engines with no venturi on the stand this way. Just mount the tank up on a concrete block. Pinch off the line as in a bladder use. Keeps those fingers away from the blocked NVA. MM
Anyone got a spare OS FP rnva they've perhaps swapped out they could let me have?
