paint for Sig Chipmunk plastic cowl?

My Sig Chipmunk project is progressing nicely... I'm wondering about how to finish the plastic cowl. How do you prepare it for paint? and what paint sticks to it? Thanks!

I've had good luck with epoxy and microballoons for smoothing the seam. Epoxy sticks well, and I've had no problem with dope, just make sure it's sanded SMOOOOTH.

If you mess up, somehow I've wound up with a couple spares...
