Check with Kirk Wicker (Wingwalk). He and I were contemplating driving down in his motorhome, but I am in a work crunch and may have to bail. If I talk to him tonight, I'll have him give you a call.

Kirk lives just down the road from me here in Gainesville, VA. If I cannot reach him sooner, I expect to see him at the meeting tonight.

FYI - I had hoped to take the Bonanza down, but my AI went out last weekend (gyro bearings of course). My wife won't let me fly that far unless I can get home IFR.

Hi, Ron. That would work - I'm less than 200 miles from Kirk. I could easily drive down.

My AI failed only once - fortunatley, in VFR.
