World Championships/Nats

I plan to attend this year and would like to take my camper. Are their camping facilities at the AMA site? Reservations? Who should I contact for details?

Hi Chris,
I've heard that campers can park in the far corners of the parking lot for free, but best check with the AMA. But there are no hookups for power or water.
I and several others from CA and AZ had planned to do something similar. Hope there is enough room for us.

AMA HAS A BEAUTIFUL SITE WITH SHOWERS, TOILETS, AND HOOK UPS FOR MOTOR HOMES. ALSO SAW MANY CAMPERS WITH TENTS, IT'S REALLY A BEAUTIFUL SITE, AND BE SURE TO CHECK OUT HEADQUARTERS.

I second Neal's comments....there are two different shower facilities and the one at the usual site for RC pylon events has limited electrical hook-ups.

There is also a terrific Indiana State Park about 5 miles from the site....on a lake that offers fishing, swimming and even boat rental.
