Greetings: Does anyone have plans for the HIGH BOY that could be copied for me? This is a smallish plane of 46" span, but an interesting configuration.

I have a HiBoy partially built, but unfortunatly it is lower priority. I am building mine like the original with side mounted engine in cheek cowels. But in doing this I can see why they show an inverted engine in the M.A.N. article. I have a copy of the article signed by Bob Palmer if you don't have a copy.
I discussed this airplane with Gary Tultz a while back. He says that he had one (with the inverted engine per the plans) and that it flies great.

If my memory is correct, he said he would change the leadout location
I don,t beleive this would run afoul of old time rules.

The Hi Boy was published in MAN, August 1954. Leonard has plans for this in his listing on this SSW. This was a collaboration with Bob Palmer and Ted Goyet.
This high-wing design has been discussed on the forum here before. Indeed, Bob Palmer has commented that the high wing caused a problem with the leadout position relative to the vertical CG. On the other hand, there have been positive reports on how well this design flies.
Then, there was a "semi-scale profile" Citabria by Dick Mathis. Dick reported there was no problem with the leadout position relative to the vertical CG.
