OK, guys. I can't seem to wipe the grin from my face. My wife said I looked like I was having too much fun. I just finished assembling a Flight Streak ARF with an OS LA 25. Last time I flew one of these things was about 34 years ago. Other than the thing being way too sensitive (built per the instructions), it did extremely well. I figured it would last about 1/2 a lap before I crunched it, but I guess you never forget how to do it. What great fun.
Thanks for the forum and people here for all the great info. Now I have to get an RC Helo buddy back into it.

yeaha another one hey i just got back into flyinr this past year after 20 some years my whife says im an obsesed with it i look at stuka stunt in the morning when i get to work noon and night i have pampa mags in the bed for late night reading my garage is now devoted to building air planes combat stunt and i have more engines then i have planes all thanks to bob reeves he got me to go brodaks i had 2 20 year old planes for combat and he let me fly one of his for stunt and that was all it took oh yea rick let me fly his big hacker.

Get me back into it??? I suppose you think all this 1/2A C/L stuff in my shop now got there because I had a wild hair?

Don't let him fool you, guys; he ALREADY got my interest up, months ago. He's just now getting around to flying his new toys, but we've been talking C/L for quite some time. I have no doubt that, once I fly his Flite Streak and Nobler, I'll have to have a "real" C/L model. For now, I have this Cox ME-109.

Still, I had a great R/C day today with the big Ultimate bipe. Somebody else could have flown his R/C toys, too; if he hadn't reversed his Campac in his 9Z and wiped out all the programming...

Hello, Steve. Good to see you on the forum.
Yes, we have been talking about it for some time. As a matter of fact, you were the first to get a C/L engine. But, the FS and Nobler ARF was a blessing as I don't have the time to build. You are going to have a ball flying these things.
Not much I can say about putting the campac in upside down. Maybe I just might need some bifocals! But, it sure was nice just to grab the FS, fuel bulb, lines, and handle and go fly. No steenkin campac needed!
Can't wait to see the Ultimate fly.

Alan! As 'friends don't let friends fly R/C', pull that CAMPAC out of there, measure the perimeter, and fit that Ultimate with a Bellcrank Platform! Just wire the throttle wide open. Don't push Steve through with the 1/2 A, pull him through with the "ultimate conversion"!

Wasn't it the RTF Flite Streak that showed the CG WAY back from where it should be? Could some of you guys who got 'em answer this?
Perhaps the problem has been corrected.
