availability of 15 or 19 engines for stu

Hi Y'all I was wondering if it is possible nowadays to purchase a new 19 or 15 glow engine at around 6 ozs in wieght suitable to run a stunt model all I seem to be able to find are larger motors and the smaller ones are all r/c I have several Rossi 15 engines but that would be a waste of the motor and I sure dont like the idea of flying a stunt model as fast as my Rossi's would pull it around at.

MRC has the Enya V in control line weight is 5.6 oz RPM range is listed as 8,000 to 16,000 for $60. Everything else in production other than the diesels is a high speed schneurle engine as far as I know.

MRC's Enya V .15 listed weight of 5.6 oz. is engine only, no muffler included. I emailed them recently about this.

ASP/LEO/NORVEL and many others do c/l versions of their motors.

OS markets an S version of the LA15.

Rich I have a OS LA 15 on a Protech Services P 51 Mustang,profile, foam wing no flaps and its a great flyer , and it was the first Mustang to fly from The Intrepid 's deck with 35 foot lines.( see Model Avation 7/2003)The OS/LA series engines are user friendly require no special care and all run great. It's not that tough to convert any R/C engine to CL use, like the Magnum XL .15. Tony Elmore ref's the ASP as being available in CL form, but this is not a factory option, rather it's done by Just Engines. Same for Leo's, and I am pretty sure Joe Just can fix you up with either ASP or Leo in CL form. Meanwhile, OS made .15FP-S and is now making .15LA-S versions. Dave Gardner flies an El Diablo with a .15FP, stock muffler, 9-4 APC! Paul Walker had 4 of these .15FP-S's on his B-17 stunters, also with 9-4 or 9-5 APC's, at the World Champs in France...9th place. Paul used the OS mufflers but reworked them. And then Thunder Tiger, Enya, and Norvell .15's are all available in the USA with CL venturi setups. Remember that you set the speed with pitch, and rpm with diameter and blade area. Steve

Yes I realise I can convert any radio engine into a controline engine but I dont want an engine that goes flat out all the time and gradually winds up if I wanted that I would just go ahead and use an Oliver Tiger deisel I am wanting an engine that will give me some sort of resemblance to a 4-2-4 run. but thanks.
