Yeah, It is the famous square-headed, short venturi Schnortenzoomer. German engine, made deep in the Black Forest by elves, I understand.

It's a prototype of a Brazilian "CB" 10cc stunt donk. I already think the venturi sucks...too short. Otherwise, I'm liking it. Where did you get the picture? This was supposed to be hush-hush.

There is no CB 10 cc, only a .46, and it's a helluvan engine!

I doubt you have a better .46 engine than my CB!

Ion, if you right click on the picture, then "save as", the pic is cb_1.jpg. I knew CB's were Brazilian, and I didn't know for sure if "Blind Tony" Elmore was testing us, or if he really didn't know. I didn't notice the eB*y url until later. It's a nicely made engine, if it was Brazilian, you should be proud. I haven't heard anything about the CB .46 since your post, but without an importer here, it's more hassle than I want. Had Super Tigres in the '60's, after all. Great engines, no parts backup. Steve

Having purchased it from ebay, and now having it in my hands, I can tell you exactly what it is . Its a 9.5cc Strakhov motor produced by former European F2B champion Vladimir Strakhov of GUS (Russia). Its shown in the picture alongside the one with the red spinner which I purchased from the European agent, Axel Junghertz in Germany.
It is set up to run on straight fuel (yes - no nitro) and the compression can only be described as ferrocious! I have not run either of them yet.

Forgot to mention, the 'pipe' is just a tubulat muffler. The Strakhov logo appears on the other side of my original motor.

Perhaps european motors are not too common on your side of the pond so I will attach a picture of a second one in another post.
