I got to see the new U-Key 35 today. Some changes to the fuse. But all and all It's still a U-key,(good point). Changes. 3/32" ply doublers past the wing, heaver wood for the fuse, Red Monocoat Wings. With hardware the whole thing comes in at 24 oz before you put it together.

here's an e-mail I got from Jim.

Paul,
I have the ARF U-Key 35 (approx 400 square in wing) for $60 plus $8 shipping, the ARF U-Key 40 (approx 500 square in wing) for $70 plus $8 shipping, and the Prowler stunt kit (.25 to .35) for $75 plus $10 for shipping. I have interest in a U-Key 15, so I am currently working on that.

The U-Key series of aircraft take a very short time to get into the air. The wings are glued to the fuselage, the leadouts are attached, and the engine, propeller, and tank are installed (you supply the engine, tank and propeller.)

The Prowler kit is a competition-level stunt aircraft with foam wing cores and profile fuselage.

how can I get a hold of a couple of these??? does anyone have a pic of the Prowler??

I would really like to buy some as I need some crash resistant machines to learn on...I heard these are really good for that......

Any help is appreciated....

Well, I'd post a picture of my Prowler but it's still unfinished and I don't have a digital camera. Mine was one of the kits produced about 12 years ago. It was a fine kit and I understand an excellent flying profile. A Bob Hunt design.

Prowler, hmm.. Got pics?

I can attest to highest level of survivability of these models. I am hoping to get a few people up and flying next season so I will be looking for a couple of U-keys...

As a long time Ukey fan I'm really glad someone is carrying on with the Ukey line. They really are an incredible airplane.
Kinda the DC-3 of stunt, only uglier.

I did look and your efforts continue to result in an excellent site.

I would love to contribute to this effort, but you have some silly requirement as to cleanliness. Da Dirt don't do clean, you know that.

This is GREAT news. The Prowler is THE best profile stunter, period. For accurate building and great flying, these BLOW AWAY the competition.

FP40's were the common power for these in the 1990s, now I suppose an LA40, Magnum 36 or Brodak 40 would be good.

The Stunt community should jump on this!
