Zepron anyone?

Have any of you used a foam stuff called "Zepron"? It's a thin foam sheet with a "skin" on it. Frequently used in park fliers etc. At about 1/16 inch thich, a 12" by 24" piece is advertised to weigh 30 grams (that's about 1.05 oz if I did the arithmetic right). It might be just the ticket for turtle decks, etc. (or even wing skins if you could get larger p[ieces...): light weight, bends without cracking...

I have been trying to locate an affordable source for this in the U.S. for quie a while now. You can get the material from a McDonalds foam box or from a tray that meat is wrapped on from the super market but so far none for a, In my opinion, U.S. Supplier That is affordable. Remember the foam wings for the cox Chipmunk and the FW? They were made from that material. I still have about a half dozen foam wing sets from Cox that I plan on using for half a in the near future and am interested in getting more material fo other projects. I recently did gather several URLs about this material and will provide them when I am able to get back to my desktop later this eve.

The article is is actually talks about Depron, a variant of Zepron,
and since it concerns electric 3D RC planes, you might
have skipped over it.

Depron is a bit lighter than Zepron and the sheets are more flat.
