Guillow's Barnstormer Mk 2 Canopy Questi

I am missing the canopy from a Barnstormer Mark 2 kit, which was traded to a fellow hobbyist. I don't have the plans in front of me. Can someone tell me the proper length and width? I assume that I could replace it with a Sig equivalent. If anyone has a spare, name your price. Thanks,

I didn't know that a Barnstormer Mk 2 existed, When did Lou Andrews design? If the models are similar, why not use a Barnstormer canopy.

The Mark II was a very short porduction run. It was slighly different in appearance, mainly at the empanage. It also had movable flaps and came out in 1953 or 54, definitely not OTS, but classic. I have seen only four since 1954 and three of those were at VSC or the Metroliner meets.

If you turn to page 30 of the latest STUNT NEWS you will see a picture of a handsome dude with the original Barnsormer. The first Barnstormer had a canopy of two flat sheets sewn together at the top. Of course, mine came off right away during practice flights.

Uncle Mikey seems to think there is no Fox 35 in the nose. Since the picture was taken the day of a contest, I'm quite sure there was a motor somewhere up near the front end.

Unca' Mikey has been a whack job for many years, don't count on him to get even a correction notice done properly. Besides, he has gone Right Coast on us.
