PAMPA website logins

I would like to apologize to everyone who emailed PAMPA webmaster but haven't heard anything from me yet. I did not expect such a large number of people who have changed their email addresses but did not notify PAMPA in time.

Since the website has opened, I've been getting roughly 50 emails per day. Already some people are getting antsy for not getting their issues resolved. Those whom I haven't replied to yet: please be patient as I am going through the list as fast as I can.

Last night, I have fixed up 158 accounts with proper emails addresses. If you haven't tried retreiving your password in a while, give it another try.

Hey Steve!

Been trying for days to get my password and always get "Username Does Not Exist". Sent you an e-mail yesterday with all vitals including underwear size.

Having done technical support for a while on this board, I will offer only one pearl of wisdom for anyone who is a webmaster:

If everything is perfect, you are just breaking even. After that it goes down hill...

Assuming you are trying to log in under your real name (is it possible to use an alias?), you need to write it like: "Joe_Skyraider". At least, that's what threw me off. We didn't ever log into the old website, so here we are, first try, and it doesn't like the name I enter!? That's why, anyhow. Don't forget to change your password after you get logged in the first time. Get logged in and click on your name, fill in the blanks, done. Steve

You don't need to log into the new website either unless you want to contribute to the website(photos,calendar and links) or access members-only areas. The only sections that are only accessible by members is 2003 Nats technical survey and the membership directory. So far, we don't have much for members-only areas but that will change.

Went through the sign in stuff yesterday, it said it sent me an email but I never received it. Could have been because our email server just happened to take a dump about the same time. Went back this morning and everything worked as advertised.

BTW: If you need a picture of Paul Walkers B-17 I have a couple of good ones I snapped at Clovis a couple of years ago.
